Red Lines was a temporary installation to activate a vintage R15 Subway car in the MTA Transit Museum, in Downtown Brooklyn.
Red Lines was designed to accentuate the unique elements of its mid-century interior. This installation was rendered as a series of lines and images located between interior train elements, combining to create an experiential form that is both visually engaging and spatially specific.
An original composition by Danny Mark Asis and Joshua Steven Kopit anchored the installation at each end of the Subway car.
Red Lines was created in partnership with the MTA Transit Museum — Spring 2017.
